Max McNeill tragically left this earth way too soon. In his honor, his family came up with the idea of having a “leave one, take one” type library built. They chose the little library to promote reading because Max was dyslexic. When he was at Marshall Academy, there was no help or program like they offer now. Hopefully it will be well used. We are hoping the young ones, as well as the upper classmen, will benefit. Lots of people contributed to this happening. Jacob Pleasants built the actual library, Barrett Clanton had a crew install it, Pittman Gurkin put the bench together and the entire family contributed books and ideas to final completion of Max’s Little Library.
