Levi Taylor Jr.
Levi Taylor Jr., 77, of Lamar, died April 30, 2024, in his home. He was a retired truck driver for Farmers Gin in Ashland.
Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral home on May 10 from 1-5 p.m. and on May 11 at Miracle Temple Salt and Light Ministries in Lamar from 9-9:55 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Rev. James Williams will officiate. Burial will be in C and L Cemetery in Lamar.
He leaves his wife, Delois Scruggs Taylor; daughters, Margaret Taylor of Ashland, Elizabeth Harville of Michigan City; sons, Levi Taylor III of Ashland, Rodney Taylor of Lamar; sisters, Lillie Norton Gail Reaves both of Ashland, Deloris Walker of Arlington, Tenn., Linda Taylor of Milwaukee, Wisc.; brother, Mark Reaves of Ashland; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Freddie B. Reaves, Pearlie Norwood, Bernice Hill, Dorothy Mae Hampton and Chester Brown Jr.
